Have you or someone you know experienced infant loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and death of the child before he or she reaches the age of 12 months? If you answered yes, the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Committee can provide the support and resources you need.
First Year Cleveland (FYC) is a Cuyahoga County-wide initiative working together to reduce the number of babies dying before the age of one. FYC focuses on 3 areas including (1) reducing racial disparities, (2) addressing extreme prematurity, and (3) eliminating sleep-related deaths. Under this initiative, the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Committee provides awareness, education, advocacy, resources and grief recovery for those who have experienced loss. We support parents, siblings, extended relatives, communities, and professionals.
